Manager

Darren joined MS Frontier Re in April 2008 as a Manager responsible for the Financial Accounting, Consolidation and Investment reporting functions. He is also a member of the Investment Committee.

He started his finance career in 1997 with Barclays Plc in the UK, where he gained a broad experience in all aspects of financial and accounting management. In 2002 he relocated to Bermuda to work for International Advisory Services in the Captive Insurance industry, before it was acquired by Marsh Inc. He was responsible for a multi line insurance portfolio while working for insurance/reinsurance companies within the Mutual Risk Management rent-a-captive operation.

Darren is a Law graduate of London Metropolitan University. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants, a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and has qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute in England. Darren also holds the Investment Management Certificate, and is a member of the CFA Society of the UK.

George Masters

Information Technology Manager

George joined MS Frontier Reinsurance Limited in December 2006, and is responsible for global management of all Information Technology systems and services.

He started his technology career in 1999 with Grey Data in Toronto Canada where he was engaged in various areas of computer networking, programming and information technology administration. From 1999 to 2003, George expanded his knowledge of computer programming and database analytics through developing accountable marketing systems for several large advertising agencies in Canada. While working in advertising, he gained an extensive client portfolio: Direct Energy, Nissan, ETRADE, Petro Canada, and Future Shop etc. In 2004, George transitioned from the marketing world into the Reinsurance world as Network Administrator / Programmer for RAM Reinsurance Ltd. Bermuda. There he developed key skills that allowed him apply his extensive computer knowledge to reinsurance systems and platforms.

Haruhiko Yoshida

Corporate Operations Manager

Haruhiko Yoshida joined MSIG in 1991. Commencing his career in Information Technology and then moving to the International Department in 1996. Later he focused on the Reinsurance Department where he was responsible for the planning and managing of the reinsurance strategy in MSIG’s overseas entities.

Haru studied at The Center on Japanese Economy and Business, at Columbia Business School. Where he concentrated on global marketing strategies. In 2003 he returned to MSIG Japan to develop and manage the direct marketing business of non-life insurance products.

April 2009 saw Haru joining The MS Frontier Re team as Corporate Operations Manager. He is responsible for the compliance procedures, risk control and reinsurance standards.

He is a graduate of Bachelor of Science from Kyoto University.
