Sean Belton

International Underwriter

Sean joined MS Frontier Re in October 2010, assuming responsibility for the underwriting and continued development of the International property catastrophe portfolio.

He has accumulated over 20 years of experience in the Reinsurance industry. Most recently, Sean was Senior Vice-President at Pulsar Re, where he underwrote and managed a multi-line short tail treaty Reinsurance portfolio. In Bermuda he has also held positions at LaSalle Re and Endurance Specialty where he underwrote international property catastrophe business.

Sean earned his BTEC National Diploma in Business and Finance at North Hertfordshire College in the United Kingdom. As well he has a Bermuda Insurance Diploma and subsequently went on to complete the ARe (Associate in Reinsurance) designation.

Denisa Breathnach

North American Underwriter

Denisa joined MS Frontier Reinsurance Limited in December 2008. In her current role, she oversees the underwriting and development of the North American Treaty portfolio. With 20 years of reinsurance industry experience, Denisa has held various levels of underwriting positions with companies in the United States, including St. Paul Reinsurance Inc., AXA Reinsurance and Alea North America. Over the years, she has underwritten and managed all types of US treaty property business, with an emphasis on Catastrophe Excess. Most recently, Denisa worked as a placement broker at Aon Re Inc. Denisa graduated from The College of Insurance at St. John’s University in New York City and holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance.

Ryutaro Yamada, AIAJ

Reinsurance Manager

Ryu joined Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company Limited, Japan (MSI) in 1996 and has gained widespread experience in both the reinsurance and insurance fields. His career to date has covered various lines of business such as property, casualty, marine and automobile.

Since moving to MS Frontier Re in 2008, Ryu has been a key member of the underwriting team on the North American portfolio of accounts as well as managing the process for monitoring the overall risk of MS Frontier Re.

Ryu is a graduate of The University of Tokyo - Bachelor of Science(Geological Science). He is an associate member of Institute of Actuaries of Japan. His actuarial skills and risk management experience are a valuable addition to the MS Frontier Re team as the company develops and grows as a key part of the MSI group.

Chuck Morgan ARe, ARM

Associate Underwriter

Chuck joined MS Frontier Re in November, 2010 as part of the North American Treaty team.

Chuck started his career in the Insurance Industry as a Business Analyst at BF&M in Bermuda. In 2005 he started in the reinsurance business as a Risk Analyst gaining invaluable Reinsurance experience in US and International property catastrophe modeling and underwriting.

Chuck was most recently with Ironshore Insurance Ltd as a Senior Risk Analyst. Where he was responsible for overseeing the roll-up of the property aggregations for Pembroke Managing Agency as well as various day-to-day Corporate Risk Management functions.

Chuck has earned several designations from the Insurance Institute of America including his ARe and ARM, and holds Industry Certifications in both RMS and AIR.

Kimberley Brough ACII

Associate Underwriter

Kimberley joined MS Frontier Re in July, 2009 as part of the International Treaty team.

Kimberley started her career in the Insurance Industry as a Trainee Broker with the BMS Group, gaining experience in both the London and Bermuda markets, before moving to JLT Park as an Assistant Property Broker in 2008.

Kimberley is a graduate of the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, where she was awarded a Bachelors of Arts (Hons) degree in Accounting, French and Music. She is also a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute in England.

Jessie Masters

Assistant Underwriter

Jessie joined MS Frontier Re in October 2008 as an Underwriting Assistant and has since moved to the International Treaty Team.

Jessie started her career in the insurance industry with HSBC Insurance Solutions before moving to MSFRe.

Jessie is a graduate of Bentley University where she was awarded a Bachelors of Science in Corporate Finance and Accounting. She has completed a Property Reinsurance course at Swiss Re Academy in Zurich and is currently working towards her ACII diploma.
